today's celebration- ding dong the counter's gone. the counter's gone, the counter's gone!!!! the evil kitchen counter that has been the bane of my existence, the main reason i rejected this house in the very beginning, has been removed!
today's resentment-the house is a stye. i manage to get one room clean, and the rest of the house falls apart. so i clean another room up and the originally clean room is destroyed. it's like a sick and twisted version of the whack-a-mole game!
there is a lot on my plate. so much, in fact, that the plate has been upgraded to a buffet sized platter. i think that the way i deal with this buffet platter of drama, crap, and general craziness is in home improvement. it's one thing in life i can control.
