I saw these in the store before I saw a commercial for it. When I saw them, I did a dance. I've been waiting for this product for 5 years! I have 4 very squirmy, energetic kids. Once my oldest started walking, it was nigh impossible to get diapers on her. I finally ended up learning how to change her while she running, crawling, climbing, or standing.
Here's Why:
They hold a ton and it doesn't get squishy like regular diapers do.
They are slimmer than most diapers
SOOOO easy to get on and off. It's just like a pull-up for babies. However, it does have a tab like a diaper for easy off. I wish Pull-ups had those tabs.
My twin toddlers haven't figured out how to take them off yet. WOOHOO!
Downfalls
Pricey!
With twins in diapers, I need quantity over quality.
If I could get 115 of these for $25-30, I'd be one happy camper.

Oh my goodness, has it really been over a month? We've all been terribly sick for the entire month of February, it seems. We're still battling the sick bugs though.
Today's Celebration- Sue gets to ride the bus now! She's excited. Margaret's jealous. I'm thrilled because that's two more trips I don't have to make!
Today's Resentment- My tonsils. At 25, I'm finally going to get them removed. However, this is only due to several complications with my health. I'm glad it will happen, though, and am trying to suppress the general annoyed-ness I'm feeling towards western medicine.
I hope ya'll enjoy the babies first birthday party pictures! The thing I want to remember about that the most is Rose eating the cake. She shoved her left fist into the cake and held on less anyone take it from her. She used her right hand to grab chunks off Lily's cake and used her face (doggy style) to eat her own cake.
Lily was so stuffed from pizza and jello and breadsticks and and and, that she didn't mind Rose stealing her cake. It should also be noted that Lily is NOT a messy eater. She is a very dainty eater. Rose, is the exact opposite. She eats like a dog does, face first, as often as she eats with her hands. Silverware just slows her down.
(The top two pictures are of Lily. The bottom two are of Rose.)

Today's Celebration- getting to see my awesome brother as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. so excited for a night out, child free!
Today's Resentment- hmmm.... nothing so far. it's been a pretty good day.
Things have been very up and down lately. Our finances have hit rock bottom, but we're getting lots of support from the community and family members. I'm trying to adjust to my medicines and different dosages. I feel bad for my kids, more than anything. They just don't understand why I'm fine one minute and just too tired to move another. However, my children have always had a fairly inconsistent life and are adjusting.
Rose and Lily are about to be 1. I can't believe it. They both are trying to pop out several teeth at once. I've counted 5 on both babies. That includes ones that they are cutting at the moment. Rose has learned to stand up. She gets up on her own, stands for a few seconds, and then sits back down. Lily is focusing more on cruising than standing.
My Aunt Lucy knitted the most adorable sweaters for the babies! I doubt you can see it very well, but Rose's sweater is the darker pink with rose buttons. Lily's sweater is the lighter pink with lily buttons. I am 100% in love with these sweaters. I don't want the babies to wear them because they'll get dirty so fast. However, I'm finding that I need coats for the babies. With the car seat situation, a coat is very impractical. These sweaters will be perfect. I'm so tickled. Thank you Aunt Lucy!

Today's Celebration- Taking my brother to his rehearsal. The kids and I played downstairs. There were other children there too, so my children were able to hang with other kids. The parents of other kids were so pleased to have some one else around to keep an eye out for their youngin's. I always forget how much I love being in a theater. Backstage, onstage, doesn't matter. The atmosphere surrounding a play is magic. I often find myself wishing to be able to be more involved with our communities theater programs. Maybe once the children are older.
Today's Resentment- I admit it, I'm panicking. Usually there are so many other things going on in my life, that the finances take a back seat. They always seem to work themselves out. Granted, I still have a lot of other things going on, but suddenly the finances have taken a front seat. We are in a danger zone and I'm out of brilliant ways to fix it. Can't even consider going off to live in a tent (which is really sounding fantastic at this point) because we collected on the first time buyer home credit. If we move or sell within three years, we have to pay it back. Which I can't afford. I keep telling myself things will sort them selves out like always, but I feel like I'm lying. The stress of this coupled with becoming a married single woman is sending me into a depression. I'm fighting like mad to stay afloat. Prayers would be appreciated.
I miss my grandma.

We thought this was so funny we had to share. The twinlings have so much personality now! Rose is the one on the floor. Just for the record, both babies got a bottle in the end. :)

Today's Celebration- hope. saw a new doctor today who asked lots of questions that i've never been asked before. he's treating my depression in a different way and we should know within 3 days if his hunch is correct. so much better than 2 weeks. i think... just maybe... i might have found a slightly competent doctor. and now i've just jinxed it.
Today's Resentment- rose is so clingy. i always forget this part. the part when the baby only wants to be held by mom. if she's not being held or fed, rose is crying.
