After 9 attempts, I finally got one I liked. There was something about being the Reverend of Lower Slaughter that just didn't ring true to me. So yes, I cheated, but even John Wayne picked a new name.

I love names. If I had the computer knowledge, I would totally do something like this.

Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!
